The partnership will combine AMA’s and Skysail’s expertise and know-how in helping companies assess growth and strategic opportunities, access the capital markets, and execute on mergers & acquisitions.
AMA, established in 1987, has a long, established foothold in the maritime markets. In the past year AMA has broadened its reach into the marine technology and service sectors of the market including recent mandates with an AI-enabled software company focused on voyage optimization and a rapidly growing marine engineering company specializing in innovative solutions for enhancing marine energy efficiency, with a primary focus on reducing carbon emissions of the global marine fleet.
Skysail, established in 2016, consults shipowners, commodity traders, private equity investors and industry associations on maritime technology industry trends, digitalization strategy, and M&A. Skysail is best known for providing globally recognized market intelligence and significant strategic advisory services to both entrepreneurs and established players in the space.
